 Found in the backyard of UGA Coach Dooley by the infamous horticulturist Dr. Michael Dirr after a hard winter killed most hydrangeas in the area. The blooms can be blue or pink depending on the acidity of the soil. Ideally, prune after flowering. Provide well-drained acidic, moisture-retentive soil and organic mulch. Plant in partial shade.
