Who would have known
all the wonderful things that the good Lord has put into those small
luscious fruit that we have enjoyed since ancient times? Scientists
have identified anthocyanins, catechins, quercetin and now
resveratrol – all phytonutrients that are strong disease fighting
allies. We just think they are fun and tasty!
Grapes are self-pollinating, and require deep, slightly acid soils and full sun. Plant vines 8-10 ft. apart on a trellis.
Mulch well and water in deeply. After growth starts, select the strongest shoot and let that grow
to become the main
trunk up to the trellis wire, pruning off the remaining branches. Our
Grape & Berry
Agriform tablets will insure good growth the first year. Bearing begins in 2 years.
